FRESNO, Calif. — For a 6-year-old girl from California, Christmas came early.
Arianna Jasso was diagnosed with a brain tumor called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) in June and was given 6 to 9 months to live, The Fresno Bee reported. She may not live long enough to celebrate Christmas in December.
So her hometown came together to have Christmas a few weeks early, KMPH reported.
It was her wish to meet Santa and celebrate with family, and the charity Driven 2 Make Change worked with local officials to make that dream come true, KFSN reported.
The group transformed a local park into Christmastown over the weekend.
She and her family climbed into a limousine to take in the sights before Santa delivered gifts, including a pink Jeep, KMPH reported.
