ATLANTA — An Atlanta man was leaving nothing to chance as he prepared to propose to his girlfriend.
William Hunn got down on one knee last week to ask Brittney Miller to marry him, and gave her a choice of five different engagement rings, WSB-TV reported.
Hunn and Miller rode to the top of the Park Pavilion building in a helicopter, the television station reported. Once they arrived, Hunn supplied several different stones and band designs for his soulmate to choose from, according to People.
As soon as they got out, family and friends were there to witness the emotional moment Hunn popped the question. Video posted on Instagram captured the special moment.
Miller apparently selected a rectangular-cut stone with a delicate pavé band, according to People. Hunn had a diamond tester on hand to ensure all five rings were real. the magazine reported.
“CBS This Morning” featured the video on its morning show.
Hunn posted on Instagram about his upcoming future with Miller.
“Can’t wait to see all the blessings that God has in store for us,” Hunn wrote.
“It was very creative,” “CBS This Morning” host Gayle King told People. “And the fact that he cared that much. To me, it sounds like that marriage is off to a very good start.”
Miller said seeing the proposal aired on national television left her “speechless.”
“I cried. ... a lot,” MIller wrote on Instagram. “This was a boss move @ichillwillfixit. You’ve planned one hell of an experience that I’ll never be able to forget. I love you.”
