Okay, move over extroverts and introverts… there’s a new personality label entering the chat. 📥😅

A psychiatrist has introduced the term “otrovert,” and if you’ve never felt like you fully belong in the extrovert vs. introvert battle, this might be exactly what you are. 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️

👉 First things first:

It’s NOT a mix of both — that’s an ambivert.“Otro” literally means “other,” and otroverts are their own category.

So what makes someone an otrovert? Here’s the breakdown:

1. You often feel like an outsider.

Not in a sad way — just like you never fully fit the group vibe. You’re kind of on your own wavelength. 🌊

2. You’re social… but prefer one-on-one.

Otroverts can be super outgoing and very well-liked. They just thrive in deeper, more meaningful conversations instead of big group settings. 🗣️❤️

3. You’re an independent thinker.

They don’t lean on the opinions of others for confidence or validation. They do their own thing — fully. 🧠🔥

4. You might even be a natural-born otrovert.

The psychiatrist who coined the term believes this might be our default setting as kids. Then, over time, we learn to adapt into an introvert or an extrovert. 👶➡️🧑

So… are you an otrovert? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️If “I don’t fit into either category” has ever been your vibe, congrats — the personality dictionary now officially has a term for you. 🏷️✨

More personality types, less pressure to pick one — we’ll take it! 🙌📻
