Anna Dasha Novotny, who operates under the moniker Dasha, is a California-born, Nashville-based singer/songwriter with a sound rooted in pop and country. She achieved mainstream success when her 2023 single "Austin" went viral and hit number three on the country charts. It was included on her major-label debut What Happens Now? the following year. She landed another hit in early 2025 with "Not At This Party."

Citing Dolly Parton, Kacey Musgraves, and Avril Lavigne as inspirations, Dasha started uploading songs and videos to her TikTok channel in 2020. After releasing a string of singles including the streaming hits "Olivia" and "Love Me 'til August," she issued her debut album, Dirty Blonde, in 2023. Later that year, she found mainstream success when her single "Austin" and its accompanying line-dancing video went viral, garnering three billion views on TikTok and 75 million streams. The song reached number three on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart and appeared on Dasha's 2024 sophomore full-length effort and major-label debut, What Happens Now? The album was a breakout success, reaching 27 on the country chart and crossing over onto the Billboard 200. A deluxe version appeared later that year padded with additional singles like "Didn't I" and "Bye Bye Bye." Early in 2025, Dasha made the charts again with "Not At This Party," a pop-driven anthem that cracked the Hot 100 and made it to 25 on the country chart.
