Several fire departments were called to Hillcrest High School in Tuscaloosa at about 10:30 a.m. CDT after several cars belonging to students caught fire, AL.com reported.

Holly Whigham, a fire and life safety educator with the city of Tuscaloosa, said Englewood Hulls Volunteer Fire Department was already on the scene and the fire was quickly extinguished, AL.com reported. Whigham said there were at least five vehicles that sustained damage.

Video footage indicated that the blaze began spontaneously in one of the vehicles and did not appear to be maliciously started, WRBC-TV reported.

There were no injuries, and students were dismissed at the school’s scheduled time, according to the television station.

It is unclear how the fire started, WVTV-TV reported.
