Prince Harry has gotten a job.
He has been hired by Silicon Valley startup BetterUp.
The Duke of Sussex is currently listed as chief impact officer and a member of the company’s leadership.
BetterUP coaches and provides mental health services to companies, CNN reported.
The company said on its website: “The BetterUp experience brings together world-class coaching, AI technology, and behavioral science experts to deliver change at scale — improving individual resilience, adaptability, and effectiveness. The results? People living more meaningful, vibrant lives with greater clarity, purpose, and passion.”
It claims to do this following their core values of courage, playfulness, empathy, among others.
It was co-founded by Alexi Robichaux and Eduardo Medina and is based in San Francisco. It works with companies like Airbnb, Google and Instacart.
Prince Harry will work on product strategy decisions and charitable contributions. He will also speak out on mental health topics, The Wall Street Journal reported.
He told the newspaper via email, “I intend to help create impact in people’s lives,” adding, “Proactive coaching provides endless possibilities for personal development, increased awareness, and an all-round better life.”
There is no word on how much Harry will be paid to work for BetterUP, CNN reported.
